Time to take a coffee break again ☕. Following the Diversity Week at the University of Cologne June 3rd-7th, we are happy to reintroduce our SFB 1530 Diversity Coffee Break from last year. This is supposed to be a completely informal meeting to raise awareness on diversity topics and to promote young scientists in their academic career.
Our first coffee break will deal with first generation scientists.
Niklas Dienstbier postdoc in the Oellerich lab: 10 June, 2-3 pm, CIO seminar room 1+2
Niklas is a mentor in the First Generation Doctorate Mentoring+ programme. Together with Dr Ann-Kristin Kolwes, the coordinator of the programme in Cologne, and Ahmet Bekisoglu, MD student in human medicine and mentee in the current year, they will introduce the programme and share their experiences in tandem.
We look forward to coming together in this format and hope you can find something to learn from their experiences.
