The project aims to overcome treatment resistance and relapse in B cell lymphoma by targeting both malignant B cells and immunosuppressive elements in the tumor microenvironment (TME), such as lymphoma-associated macrophages and dysfunctional T cells. It proposes using multispecific antibodies (msAbs) to address immune evasion mechanisms, which current bispecific therapies struggle to target effectively. In addition to therapeutic applications, msAbs will be used to explore molecular pathways driving immune dysfunction in lymphoma. The project will develop and evaluate next-generation msAb-based treatments for both indolent and aggressive B cell lymphomas, including CLL and DLBCL, with the goal of improving patient outcomes.
